Dramedy about a gay, Christian, chronic masturbator moving from Texas
to NY City to pursue his career as an actor and singer-songwriter.
Feeling stifled by college and ostracized by his conservative family, Tyler abruptly drops out of college and moves from Texas to New York City to pursue his career as an actor and singer-songwriter. (So original, right?) Tyler shares an apartment with Marco…who turns out to be a nudist. His new life in the city is complicated even more when he runs into Greg who broke his heart in high school…and also in college. The two begin reconnecting, and quickly fall into their old “right place, wrong time” festivities. Luckily Tyler’s stupid bitch of a best friend, Alex, follows him up to NY to comfort the shit out of him. Juggling drama with his parents, Greg, Alex, and various awkward encounters with strangers, Tyler must refocus on why he moved to the city. He reclaims his shit and begins to focus on his music.
With original songs, heartwarming characters, and suck-tastic events, Don't Suck examines the universal goal of not sucking.
